‘Before I die…’
Guernsey Arts Commission is supporting the ‘Dying Matters’ week, 12-18 of May, as part of our Arts in Health programme. On Saturday 3rd of May, at Market Square, we will be installing the ‘Before I die…’ wall, as a lead in to the campaign. The wall is a global art project created the artist Candy Chang and she has encouraged people to create their own wall. The wall has been installed all around the world including Japan, Denmark, New Zealand, China and now Guernsey!
Lottie Barnes, Community Arts Development Manager and Nicky Colclough, Artist in Residence at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, will be at the wall on Saturday 3 May from 10.00am to 1.00pm. Come and say hello, get involved and write your message on the wall. It will be at Market Square for a week so when you pass it please leave your thoughts. We will be collecting your thoughts and showing them on social media throughout the week.
