In 2011 the Guernsey Arts Commission has provided funding to more than 30 different arts events and projects around the Bailiwick and we are now accepting applications for funding for events and projects in 2012.
Each year we are given a grant for the Commerce & Employment and Culture & Leisure Departments of the States of Guernsey to distribute to a range of arts events and projects taking place in Guernsey – this is done through our Funding Sub-Committee which meets six times a year to discuss the applications.

Four different types of funding are available to applicants – grants, underwrites, sponsorship matches and travel grants.
The deadlines for applications in 2012 are:

Tuesday 7th February
Tuesday 6th March
Tuesday 8th May
Tuesday 4th September
Tuesday 6th November
Meetings take place following these dates and applicants will be informed of the Sub-Committee’s decision early the following month, so we advise anyone making applications to get the relevant forms and information to us as early as possible.
