Art and Islands Conference a Massive Success!
This year’s Art and Islands Conference was a tremendous success,
on the
first day we saw more than 90 local and international
delegates attend the Conference at Castle Cornet. The weather was
fabulous and showed Guernsey at its best to our 50+ international
delegates. One of the highlights of this year’s Conference came from
the Art and Island Keynote Speaker Matthew Taylor the Chief
Executive of the Royal Society of Arts. He delivered a lecture on
Creativity and Sustainable Citizenship. Off the back of this event we
are looking for RSA Fellows who reside in Guernsey and are interested
in joining a regional forum to look at developing Matthew’s concept
further in a local context. If you are an RSA Fellow and would
like more information please contact Joanna Littlejohns, Head of Arts
Development by email joanna@arts.gg.
