If you've logged onto our website recently you will have seen that we have launched a calendar of events. This calendar has so far proved very successful in keeping people up to date with what is happening around the island and it is free to use for anyone wishing to add their event.

Entry for Poems on the Buses 4 is now open and this time we are inviting poets, wherever they are in the world, to submit their works to the competition. This year we are seeking poems that provoke thought and reflection, that entertain, or makes the reader appreciate the craft of poetry.

Poems should be no longer than fourteen lines and the closing date for entries is Wednesday 15th September. The winners will be announced in October.

The summer workshops kicked off last week and are already proving a hit! This three week workshop programme covers dance, drama and puppetry for children aged between 6 and 14 and will see over 100 children take part.
