Guernsey Photomarathon 2010:
Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May 10.30am - 4.30pm
Guernsey Arts Commission is pleased to announce a brand new event taking place on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May. The Guernsey Photomarathon is a photography competition with a twist: in 6 hours you have to take 12 pictures on 12 given topics. The conditions of the competition state entrants are allowed one shot per topic, therefore digital cameras are not allowed, entrants will be provided with a special camera or film. It’s not your physical condition, but your sense of improvisation, fun and creativity that is challenged throughout the Photomarathon.
The Guernsey Photomarathon will be a great way for friends, families and individuals to join together and get creative. Of course the more competitive of you may wish to strike out alone, and push your individual creativity to the max.
Full details on the event and how to book can be found on our website www.arts.gg, if you have any queries please contact jo@arts.gg or telephone 749268.
