Community Arts

The Guernsey Arts Commission is currently looking to develop its Community Arts Strategy. So far in 2010 it has done so with support from NatWest for a series of workshops, Art on the Beach and regular events at Les Genats.

The Commission's Music Sub-Committee are currently raising funds to produce a new compilation CD of local music.

They have held several fundraising gigs and have more than 15 tracks for inclusion on the album which they hope will be released later in 2011 or early 2012. For more information on the project please contact Chair of the Music Sub-Committee, Russ Fossey, at russ@arts.gg

Guernsey Literary Festival 2012

Following the success of the the first Guernsey Literary Festival in 2011 the organising Sub-Committee are currently looking for support for another festival in September 2012.
