The Guernsey Literary Festival Will Return in 2012!
The Guernsey Arts Commission is pleased to announce that the Guernsey Literary Festival will return for another weekend of exploring the world of writing, reading, prose and poetry. From 13th to 16th of September, in venues across the island, the Guernsey Literary Festival 2012 will stage exciting events for people of all ages.
Festival Director, Catriona Stares, says:
“The festival team is hard at work: we are getting responses from a fascinating variety of writers, and from the sponsors and volunteers we need to help us put together a fabulous programme for 2012. There will be something for everyone, from school kids to aspiring novelists, from the passionate bookworm to the busiest businessman, from the lover of poetry to the lover of comics, we’re developing a marvellous variety of events. We can’t give away too much at this stage… but watch this space.”
