The Guernsey Arts Commission is honoured to host a new and unmissable exhibition, ‘Consequences’, thanks to the greenhouse gallery and Specsavers Optical Group. The Guernsey Arts Commission is presenting this superb collection of unseen work by Guernsey-born artist Peter Le Vasseur at Guernsey Museum at Candie.
This will start on 31st March, lasting until 23rd July 2017 and is open daily between 10am-5pm.
This is a fabulous and unmissable opportunity to see Peter’s first local exhibition in over 10 years!
Peter’s technique, his undeniable expertise in environmental problems, his extensive travel experience and on-location research in the most remote parts of the world and his passion for preservation, is all revealed in his exquisite paintings. This knowledge has all been brought about by Peter touring the world, and can be seen in his 16 paintings, showing endangered rainforests, the USA, New Guinea, the Arctic and more.
‘Consequences’ is a warning, touching on commercial development, global warming and animal extinction. Peter has committed his life to provoking change and raising awareness of our fragile natural world. Come and be captivated by this educational exhibition.
